Come out to The Island to showcase your skills for the Rider Softball coaching staff and players!
Softball players in grades 8-12 can develop their game and
showcase their skills in this all-day clinic providing advanced skill
instruction and competitive game simulations.
Prospects will be provided with a day of Broncs-style practice
and play including challenging drills and skills to improve fundamentals of
hitting, defense and base running. Pitchers will have the opportunity to showcase their pitches in a bullpen session as well as pitch to live batters during game simulations. Catchers will also have individual work, including pop-times to all bases.
Equipment Needed: All
necessary softball gear: glove, bat, helmet, face mask, catcher's gear, etc.
Campus Tour: A campus tour will be provided to all participants who want to participate, at the conclusion of the clinic.
There will be a lunch break, however, lunch is not included - please plan to
bring a lunch and/or snacks. Water and ice will be provided but please bring
your own water bottle. A certified athletic trainer will be on site.

University Softball clinics are open to any and all entrants, limited only by
number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
*Rain date will be Sunday, August 25. In the event of inclement
weather on rain date, if an alternate plan cannot be accommodated, a 100% refund will be
given to all pre-registered attendees. The University is not responsible for
related costs such as airfare, travel costs, cancellation charges, etc.
*No refunds will be given
to "no-shows" - registrants who do not attend and who do not notify
Rider University by the first day of camp.
